Today on the blog we have the wedding décor of Zain & Umema. I absolutely love having clients like Zain and Umema! Not only is their love story a fairytale, they also are a match made in heaven! I met with them on a beautiful July day I was instantly enamored by their love. They met over nine years ago on campus at the University of WA. Umema was selling roses for a fundraiser when she caught Zain's eye. He pursued her in what bloomed into a beautiful relationship. Umema left to Chicago to further her career for a while, but returned back to Seattle to marry the love of her life. I was thrilled when they decided to book me to do their wedding décor!
They chose the stunning grounds at the Club at Snoqualmie Ridge with a backdrop of the Cascades for their cultural reception. For their wedding decor, Umema showed me her dress colors, which was a beautiful beaded lengha in magenta & champagne. Zain choose a classic and sophisticated black suit. We incorporated shades of magenta, champagne and ivory for their wedding decor. Beautiful draping in magenta, champagne sequin and silky ivory drapes created a stunning backdrop for an equally stunning couple. We used our intricate gold carved furniture set that just screamed royalty. Nat from Blooming Seattle, created the beautiful stage flowers in ivory hydrangeas, shades of purple roses adorned on top of our beautiful jail pillars. We decorated their tables with white chair covers with magenta sashes. We alternated their table centerpieces with striking gold crystal globes and submerged purple orchids in varying vase sizes. The gold charger plates tied the whole look together with cute favor boxes decorated on top.
Congrats on your marriage, love birds!
This week we have part 2 of Nissana & Jason East meets West celebration! Last week I showed you the beautiful traditions of Cambodian ceremony (click here) but today is all about the American ceremony and Reception!
Nissana & Jason wanted to keep the ceremony very elegant but rustic chic with gold and greenery as accents. We created a unique tablescape incorporating long and round tables.
We decked out the tables in Ivory & Gold with floral accents of Green. We kept the dance floor all white to add that "wow!" effect! Check out the photos to get a better visual!

Today on the blog we have Nissana & Jason fusion wedding. This wedding will be broken down into two parts so read on!
For the Cambodian ceremony we brought full on glitz & glam! We did our signature backdrop in glitzy gold sequin drapes paired with ivory chiffon. We added pink and amber uplighting to create a sunset affect to enhance Nissan & Jason traditional Cambodian clothing. Don't they look amazing? *Sigh*
For the church we decorated the aisle with traditional garlands and ivory pillar candles. Such a romantic look it created!
Wonderful Vendors we worked with!
It's been such a whirlwind of a summer and i just haven't been able to update this blog! (boo me)
Today on the blog we have this vibrant mehndi we did for Zainab & Hassan. Sticking to traditional colors of pinks, purples and oranges we paired it with sunflower gold and various other hues. We created extra seating around the dance floor for guests and added a touch of color around the room to create ambiance. Walking into this Mehndi you could sure feel the energy!
For the tables we did a eggplant crushed linen with colorful lanterns and umbrellas. The gold chiavari chairs added a touch of luxury to the entire ballroom.
Tip Tuesday- Linens and Chiavari chairs really add elegance to your venue. They are the largest amount and it's what draws guests eyes when entering the room.
So excited to feature this gorgeous wedding we designed for our couple Nadia & Mark. They wanted to go for a traditional Moroccan design with hues of red and gold drapes accented with fairy lights and hanging lanterns, We designed the table with satin burgundy linens with gold sequin runners and multicolored lanterns as our centerpiece. This was such a fun wedding to be apart of! Wishing Nadia & Mark all the best :)
Today I bring to you a very special couple near and dear to my heart. We designed a Moroccan theme backdrop for Shukri + Hamza. They opted for a bright and colorful Moroccan inspired decor. For the fabrics we used we kept it very bright and bold with 24karat gold sequin material and hues of burgundy and red drapes combined. We accented the tables with moroccan lanterns and red table runners. Check out the rest of the pics below!
Today on the blog we bring to you a beautiful wedding that we decorated for Amaani & Sohaib. When taking on this project we knew it would be a challenge to transform the gymnasium into a ballroom fit for a bride and groom. Some of the challenges were on how to cover the poles, drape the basketball hoops in order to hide it and give the room an ambiance that people were walking into a wedding venue and not a gym. We made sure to decorate the entrance, create a 70 ft red carpet walkway, uplighting all around the room and last but not least a romantic backdrop for a blushing bride. We had the pleasure of working with Saqib who delivered beautiful photos of our work. Check out the rest of the photos here.
